• Biography

  Chris Dietrich is Curator of Insects at the Illinois Natural History Survey, Prairie Research Institute, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned a BS in biology from the University of Pittsburgh, a PhD in entomology from North Carolina State University and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the U.S. National Museum of Natural History and Colorado State University before joining INHS in 1995. His research focuses on the systematics of leafhoppers, treehoppers and related insects.
